Job Summary

Key Responsibilities
As a Data Scientist Consultant, you'll be responsible for:

  • Transforming large, complex datasets into pragmatic, actionable insights.
  • Translating business challenges into data problems and applying suitable analytical methods.
  • Identifying and organizing the necessary data to ensure it is fit for solution use.
  • Designing and interpreting quantitative experiments to guide business decisions.
  • Proactively managing stakeholder communication and addressing their needs.
  • Utilizing data visualization and storytelling skills to drive stakeholder actions.
  • Thriving in a fast-paced environment and taking ownership of your work.
  • Ensuring quality through reproducibility, validation, and peer review.
  • Clearly conveying analysis outcomes to stakeholders at all levels.
  • Incorporating scalability and long-term orientation in all data science efforts.

Key Requirements
We require candidates to have the following qualifications:
  • Master's degree or PhD in a quantitative field (e.g., computer science, statistics, engineering).
  • A minimum of 6 years of relevant experience in data science.
  • Strong expertise in data mining techniques with statistical rigor.
  • Proficiency in validating hypotheses/models and measuring impact via A/B testing.
  • Extensive knowledge of SQL, Python/R, and version control with Git.
  • Familiarity with Big Data tools (e.g., PySpark) and Data Management systems (e.g., Snowflake).
  • Exceptional data visualization and storytelling skills.
  • Ability to communicate complex concepts clearly and effectively.
  • Experience in attribution modeling and marketing measurement is a plus.

Nice to Have
Experience in deep learning, campaign effectiveness measurement, or product/marketplace organizations is advantageous.
