emagine is currently seeking an experienced Project Management Officer (PMO) to lead a complex trade surveillance program. The ideal candidate will possess strong communication and leadership skills and be adept at navigating intricate stakeholder environments. A thorough understanding of regulatory compliance is essential to ensure successful program delivery under strict FCA timelines.
Main Responsibilities
The PMO will be responsible for overseeing the execution of the trade surveillance program, ensuring alignment with regulatory requirements.
Lead and manage the surveillance remediation program efficiently.
Coordinate with multiple stakeholders across data, business, and compliance areas.
Ensure compliance with FCA deadlines and regulatory standards.
Facilitate communication among stakeholders to achieve program objectives.
Prepare regular status reports on program progress and risks.
Identify and mitigate project risks proactively.
Support resource allocation and project budgeting efforts.
Conduct post-project evaluations to recommend improvements.
Maintain documentation and compliance records for audit purposes.
Key Requirements
Proven experience as a PMO within a regulatory environment.
Strong understanding of trade surveillance and compliance processes.
Excellent organizational and project management skills.
Ability to work collaboratively with diverse stakeholders.
Effective communication skills, both written and verbal.
Experience working under pressure and meeting tight deadlines.
Leadership ability to guide teams towards successful outcomes.
Proficiency in project management tools and methodologies.
Familiarity with FCA regulations is highly desirable.
Nice to Have
Experience in data analytics related to trade surveillance.
Advanced qualifications in project management (e.g., PMP, PRINCE2).
Previous work experience in financial services.
