Programme Test Manager (Avaloq) - Wealth Management
We are looking for a dynamic individual who will play a pivotal role in driving and supporting various technical projects. The ideal consultant will possess a strong blend of technical expertise, stakeholder management skills, and a deep understanding of QA Testing, particularly within the scope of large-scale complex programmes in the Banking sector.
Main Responsibilities:
Define, implement and oversee the test approach within the programme.
Deliver or manage the delivery of test collateral, including test strategy, plans, and reports.
Define roles and responsibilities for the test team.
Create project estimates using designated tools based on known scope.
Lead the strategic direction of the test team across multiple workstreams.
Manage test delivery in line with the agreed test strategy.
Assist in defining test environment strategies.
Ensure all phases achieve the agreed criteria before proceeding.
Manage communication regarding testing delays to stakeholders.
Coach and support test team members as necessary.
Key Requirements:
Proven experience with Avaloq – this is essential.
Experience in large-scale complex programmes within Banking, ideally in the Wealth Management domain.
Demonstrable track record of defining and successfully delivering testing strategies.
Deep understanding of test strategy, including tools and technologies for automated testing.
Experience in implementing test automation strategies and methodologies.
Familiarity with test management tools such as JIRA.
Ability to define and set the technical vision for test automation.
Strong QA/testing automation experience, preferably in financial services.
Inclusive people management experience – leading and mentoring diverse QA teams.
Excellent stakeholder management skills, including working with senior stakeholders across IT and Business.
Ability to work under pressure and consistently meet aggressive deadlines.
Nice to Have:
Politically astute with strong relationship navigation skills.
Experience in risk management and quality approaches.
