Key Skills:
Senior Telecoms Network Engineer with proficiency in configuring and managing Avaya and Mitel PABX systems
Experienced including hardware, softphones, IP phones, gateways, and servers
Knowledge of network infrastructure, including LAN/WAN, routers, switches, and firewalls.
Strong understanding of VoIP technologies and protocols
Autonomous with good organisational, coordination and problem-solving skills
Comfortable in global multicultural environment
Fully fluent in English with good Italian
Key Tasks:
Working with the head of telephony and project manager you will support migrations, monitoring the solutions to implement and create documentation.
Interface with vendors and solution providers, verifying and challenging proposed solutions
Collaborate with technical teams from merged company to coordinate and align on separation topics.
Main required goals:
Technical management of telephony projects, including planning, execution, and documentation.
Support telephony systems across multiple regions and time zones. – 70+ sites, Europe, Asia, Americas
Handle cloud-based telephony solutions and unified communications platforms.
Diagnose and resolve telephony issues.
Manage regular system maintenance, updates, and backups.
Monitor system performance and implement improvements as needed.
Handle/Configure various PABX features such as OpenScape, OScAr, Contact Center, IVR, and concierge services.
Integrate PABX features with other business applications and systems.
