We are currently looking for a 365 engineer to join the team. This role will be 5 DAYS A WEEK ON SITE. It's a hands-on technical role where you'll be responsible for ensuring the availability, security, and performance of the Microsoft 365 services used by the organisation.

This role involves leading the onboarding activities for Office 365, with a primary focus on planning, designing, implementing, and migrating Office 365 solutions to meet business needs and requirements. You will play a crucial role in supporting the deployment process, resolving issues, and maintaining a strong working knowledge of all Office 365 services, as well as the tools and products necessary for effective deployment and management.

A significant aspect of the role includes engaging in technical discussions with executives to drive key decisions and implementation strategies. You will work closely with global engineers to share knowledge, resolve technical issues, and promote deployment best practices across the organization.

The ideal candidate will have a solid background in enterprise-level technical work, particularly in Microsoft Exchange technologies, and possess an in-depth understanding of architecting and migrating complex messaging environments.

Experience with Office 365 technologies, such as Azure AD, Exchange, OneDrive, SharePoint, Office Pro Plus, Skype for Business, Microsoft Teams, and Intune, is crucial. You should be proficient in migration best practices, particularly in multi-forest directory environments, and be capable of troubleshooting issues across a range of platforms and systems.

While not mandatory, experience with Microsoft’s Modern Workspace solutions and the Enterprise Mobility + Security stack, including familiarity with Microsoft Azure for the Office 365 Tenant, Exchange Online, Identity Management (Active Directory, Azure Active Directory, ADFS, Microsoft Identity Manager/FIM), and Intune design for MDM and BYOD, will be highly advantageous. Additionally, experience with network architectures that include highly segregated firewalls, as well as familiarity with regulatory environments, particularly within the financial industry, is a plus.

Desirable skills for this role include experience with technologies such as Blackberry Enterprise (UEM), System Center Configuration Manager (SCCM), Citrix XenDesktop/Workspace, and VMware ESX.
