Business Analyst – Client & Customer Data

£600 - £700 per day (inside IR35)

Overview:

Emagine is partnering with a global tier 1 investment bank to revolutionise their client and customer data management. We are establishing a new single-source data platform dedicated to optimising and consolidating all client and customer data across the bank. This platform will address regulatory requirements, GDPR, and KYC/AML compliance. We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Business Analyst to join our team and play a pivotal role in this transformative project. You will work closely with the Product Owner and another Business Analyst to ensure successful delivery.

 

Requirements:

  • Accelerate the gathering and documentation of requirements across prioritised journeys and value streams.

  • Assess and consolidate workstream requirements, ensuring common requirements are tagged and tracked in JIRA.

  • Develop and maintain a comprehensive product backlog, ensuring all requirements and user stories are well-defined, prioritised, and aligned with project goals.

  • Develop key artefacts, including end-to-end use case journeys, sequence diagrams, and business logic/rules.

  • Collaborate with architects to support the development of Physical Data Models and journey design.

  • Support data migration of existing customers and contribute to the creation of a comprehensive migration plan.

Experience:

  • Extensive experience with client and customer data management projects.

  • Proven track record in data-intensive environments, particularly within the financial sector.

  • Strong expertise in gathering and documenting business requirements.

  • Proficiency in creating business and technical process flows, use case journeys, sequence diagrams, and business logic/rules.

  • Experience with JIRA or similar project management tools.

  • Excellent collaboration skills, with the ability to work closely with Product Owners, Architects, and other stakeholders.

  • Knowledge of data migration processes and best practices, particularly in contexts involving regulatory compliance, GDPR, and KYC/AML.
