Position Overview:
Emagine is currently seeking a Senior Project Manager with experience working within the Credit & Lending space. In this critical role, you will collaborate closely with our investment banking client to review current product group regulations, assess existing credit and lending processes, and implement strategic improvements to ensure alignment with regulatory requirements. This is an exceptional opportunity to drive impactful change, optimize operations, and elevate compliance standards within a dynamic and challenging environment.
Responsibilities:
Partner with our investment banking client to conduct a comprehensive review of current product group regulations governing credit and lending activities.
Establish effective governance and control, in line with Change Framework and coordination of cross technology teams across Global Business and Global Function delivery
Work with the Product Owner to drive improvements in productivity through backlog management, maturity in the use of Agile methodologies, including Scrum, Kanban and Lean, and corresponding management of dependenciesAssess all stages of the credit and lending lifecycle, including origination, underwriting, monitoring, and servicing, to identify gaps and areas for improvement.
Collaborate with internal and client stakeholders to develop and implement strategic initiatives aimed at enhancing regulatory compliance and operational efficiency.
Lead cross-functional project teams ensuring adherence to project timelines, budgets, and deliverables.
Proactively identify and mitigate regulatory risks and issues, implementing robust controls and processes to ensure compliance with applicable regulations.
Facilitate communication and collaboration between internal teams, external vendors, and regulatory authorities to drive alignment and consensus.
Qualifications:
In-depth understanding of diverse product sets/groups within credit and lending, including various lending products such as corporate loans, commercial mortgages, residential mortgages, and asset-based lending, among others.
Knowledge of credit and lending regulations, including but not limited to Basel III, Dodd-Frank Act, and relevant regulatory guidelines.
Proven track record of successfully leading regulatory compliance projects, driving process improvements, and implementing best practices.
Proven experience working on risk projects within the financial services industry, including familiarity with risk management methodologies and regulations related to credit and lending activities.
Exceptional communication, leadership, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships and influence stakeholders at all levels
Proficiency in project management methodologies and tools, such as Agile, Scrum, or Waterfall.
