emagine is looking for your skills to assist a global organisation in advising and implementing Disaster Recovery Planning (DRP) and Business Continuity Management (BCM) strategies
Key Skills and experience :
Proven experience in DRP and BCM consulting in an international manufacturing environment.
In-depth knowledge of IT systems, networks, and infrastructure.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Excellent communication skills in English, both written and verbal.
Relevant certifications such as CISSP or CBCP are a plus.
Key Tasks:
Work with stakeholders, department heads, vendors, etc. to assess IT infrastructure.
Conduct risk assessments and business impact analyses to identify critical systems and processes.
Develop comprehensive DRP.
Advise on the development and maintenance of BCM Plans.
Develop and perform regular testing and drills to validate the effectiveness of BCM strategies.
Work closely with IT teams to implement and maintain disaster recovery solutions.
Provide guidance on the selection of appropriate technologies and tools to support disaster recovery objectives.
Ensure that disaster recovery and business continuity plans align with industry standards and regulatory requirements.
Establish monitoring mechanisms to detect potential disruptions and trigger the execution of disaster recovery plans.
Create disaster recovery and business continuity documentation.
Raise awareness about the importance of DPR and BCM within the organization.
Create and deliver training sessions to educate the teams on disaster recovery best practices.
