We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Portfolio PMO Lead to join our dynamic team. This pivotal role involves leading the Front Office PMO with a global reach, requiring exceptional stakeholder engagement skills and a deep understanding of the investment banking and financial services industry.

 

Key Responsibilities:

  • Portfolio Governance: Lead and enhance the governance framework for the Front Office Portfolio, ensuring alignment with organizational strategy and objectives.

  • Stakeholder Engagement: Develop and maintain strong relationships with senior stakeholders, particularly managing relationships with a tricky senior stakeholder to ensure successful project delivery and alignment with business goals.

  • Global PMO Leadership: Oversee and coordinate the activities of a global PMO team, ensuring consistent project management methodologies and standards are applied across all regions.

  • Strategic Planning: Collaborate with senior leadership to define and implement strategic initiatives, providing guidance on project prioritization and resource allocation.

  • Risk Management: Identify and manage risks associated with the portfolio, implementing effective mitigation strategies to ensure successful project outcomes.

  • Reporting and Analytics: Develop and maintain comprehensive reporting mechanisms, providing insights into portfolio performance, resource utilization, and key metrics for senior management.

Skills and Qualifications:

  • Extensive experience (10+ years) in Portfolio Management and PMO leadership within the investment banking or financial services industry.

  • Proven track record of successfully managing complex portfolios on a global scale.

  • Strong stakeholder management skills, with the ability to navigate and influence senior stakeholders effectively.

  • In-depth knowledge of investment banking processes, products, and regulatory requirements.

  • Exceptional communication and presentation skills.

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, or a related field. Master's degree or relevant certifications (PMP, PgMP, PfMP) is a plus.
