ROLE OVERVIEW:
This is the role for Candidate, who will enjoy leading the PMO function through a period of growth to continue to build a high-performance service delivery function for the organization.
This role will give the ideal candidate the autonomy to be creative and challenge the status quo and develop a roadmap that will chart the path for the future of PMO in the organization.
This role will lead the PMO in coordinating and tracking project outcomes, milestones and finances, monitoring variances, and continuously engaging in the development and implementation of best project management practices.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
Leadership of the PMO function.
Establishing a clear vision for the PMO with a delivery roadmap including interim milestones and long-term measures of success / key performance indicators.
Development and implementation of the PMO’s strategy, responsibilities, services and deliverables.
Provide reporting and insights to the organisation where required and where added value can be achieved.
Responsible for collecting and consolidating project data from Project Managers and business stakeholders to produce regular reports and insights for all levels of governance.
Ensure communication of project management best practice and toolkit. Support training and report improvements.
Maintain project knowledge repository, document revision/version control.
Analyzing data including portfolio budgets, risks, and resource allocation.
Conduct project audits and lessons learnt.
Monitor and review work stream risk/dependency/action logs
Compile FAQ`s and project knowledge base.
Represent Organisational Management in meetings and record resolutions and agreed next steps accordingly.
Pro-actively seek opportunities to increase external and internal customer satisfaction.
Continually assess business case and evaluate strategic alignment of all projects.
Engage with OM Strategic pillars taking responsibility for own input and action.
REQUIREMENTS:
Fluent English.
Experience in team management, and preferably the PMO function.
10 years + experience in providing PMO services.

Ability to work effectively on your own initiative with a strong sense of autonomy.
