Case interview with:
Lea Gustavsen,
Global Head of IT,
Danish Refugee Council
DRC is a global organisation that is widely represented all over the world. 90% of our work is done globally, impacting our IT function significantly. Our primary focus revolves around a new ERP system, the global implementation of Office 365 and cybersecurity.
To support our projects and to ensure that we have the right IT specialists at our disposal, we have decided to take the nearshoring path in collaboration with emagine (formerly ProData Consult).
With emagine as a supplier, we have established ourselves in Poland quite quickly, and we have gained access to IT specialists we haven’t had success recruiting here in Denmark. Poland meets our needs perfectly. We are delighted with our consultants. In addition to being proactive and skilled, their personality is a good match for our culture.
Throughout the process, emagine has been a treasured sparring partner, especially concerning our profile descriptions, which ensured that we found suitable profiles from the start. At the same time, emagine has handled all the administration and any practical challenges that have arisen, so we’ve been able to focus on the development side of things.
I’ve found that my contacts at emagine have shown much interest in us as an organisation.
They understand that we are a non-profit organisation, which means that we operate under somewhat different rules. I feel that the people I work with at emagine are very committed personally.
